March To Save Pershore Care Centre

Pershore's Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate, Richard Burt will join clients, parents, carers and supporters of Pershore Care Centre in a protest march starting at 10.30am this Saturday, from the Care Centre in Station Road to the centre of the town as part of a campaign to save the facility for adults with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities.

Young men who use the Centre face the prospect of being moved to larger establishments without the specialist care they need because the County Council want to save money by closing it down.

Mr Burt, who recently visited the Centre to talk to carers and parents, appealed to residents to "come along and support the campaign to save this excellent facility for current and future users."
